Job Description

Rahi Systems is seeking a highly motivated individual for the role of superintendent who supervises and supports our Foreman team and works closely with management to help streamline and improve project workflow, employee development, site safety and knowledge.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • The primary role of the Superintendent is to supervise and support the Foremen team.
  • Fosters culture, leadership, and employee growth. Helps employees understand the Rahi business at large
  •  Identifies gaps in company processes and works with appropriate parties for solutions
  • Provides reality check to Service Delivery Managers on labor utilization and site needs
  • Collaborates with Senior Project Manager on labor needs vs milestones
  • Assist in training and education to Company personnel regarding safety requirements (OSHA, Company policies, etc.)
  • Assist in employee safety training and identify employees who need training (general and site specific)
  • Communicate with the Forepersons and Field teams as it relates to both good and bad safety practices that are observed
  • Accident investigation: Investigate and analyze bodily injury, property damage accidents and near misses; may accompany an injured employee for treatment and medical evaluation
  • Document all safety violations or unsafe conditions/activities; ensure corrective measures are immediately implemented; follow through to ensure corrections have been made
  • Review accident reports on a quarterly basis with Vice President of Services
  • Provide updated information to Field Teams regarding safety requirement changes
  • Conduct/assist with weekly safety meetings for all assigned projects

Knowledge and Skills

  • Thorough knowledge of OSHA Construction Order Regulations
  • Ability to evaluate construction work activities with respect to productivity, milestones, task completions, safety and loss control
  • Ability to train and educate others

Education, Experience and Physical Abilities requirements:

  • Minimum OSHA 30-hour course
  • This is a full-time benefited position
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
